I have never in my life blacked out from drinking so much. And isn't it just plain EVIL for the universe to give you a stomach bug after you've already nursed a killer hangover? I think there should be some kind of cosmic rule against such a horrible thing.
Needless to say, my weekend kinda blew.
I've finally recovered from the bug and was able to get some dinner tonight and catch up with my lovely friend Chanell. Afterwards, I went to Buffalo Wild Wings to watch the Mavs game with my parents and some of their friends. Unfortunately, we lost game 1, but it's only the first game!
I've been feeling pretty discouraged lately over many little things, so I've been composing a list of things to do to liven things up around here over the summer. So far on the list, it's:
1. Keep pushing in my workouts!
2. Go thrifting. It's been a long while, and while I'm on a budget and trying to cut back on spending, being a shopaholic is just a part of who I am.
3. Take as many trips to the beach house as possible. I'll be going for sure for the fourth of July and my mom's birthday.
4. COMIC CON! I've gotta start planning for that trip ASAP.
5. Many afternoons out by the pool.
6. Cooking out as much as possible.
7. Getting in a Rangers game or two.
8. Visiting the Arboretum.
9. Finishing the giant stack of books I have waiting to be read!
10. Hopefully getting a weekend off to visit the lake.
It's going to be an amazing summer! Perhaps the best yetttt!
Love, love, love and unicorns to you all.
PS. If there's only one thing you do this weekend, make sure it's to see Bridesmaids. Epic + funny + laugh-til-you-pee-your-pants awesomeness.

I'm with you on #5. There is a girl I've been reading lately that features thrifting bloggers on Thursdays. Oh, I wish I could remember the name of her blog! I'll leave it here for you when I do find it.
That sounds like one epic night, glad you made it through! ;)
Hope you find some treasures when you go thrifting!
