So, this was my first time, as y'all know, and I have to say day one was pretty successful. Unfortunately, however, I was about 30 people away from being let into the Game of Thrones panel, so I can't say it was a COMPLETE success.
I learned some lessons on what not to do and where to go. I spent most of my day waiting in line to see Game of Thrones. When that didn't work out, I stuck around to watch a really fun panel put on by actors from several different shows (such as Chuck, Lost, Dr. Who, Big Bang Theory). After that, I watched the Showtime panel showcasing Dexter, Shameless, and a new show coming out called Homeland (with Claire Danes).
The biggest lesson one can learn at Comic-Con? Wear some freakin' deodorant, people. It's called a shower. It's called toothpaste. Learn it. Use it. Love it.
At least I got to see this sex machine:
