Dear shoppers of Dallas,
I am not your bitch. The customer is not always right.
Traveling in packs of fifteen and walking into my store just to walk right back out is not cool.
Just because you are spending money at my store does not give you the right to abuse me.
No, the company will not refund you your money for the bag you've been carrying since Fall '08 that looks like it was dragged through the dirt - it is not my fault that you don't take care of your bag. You spent hundreds of dollars on it, you'd think the LEAST you would do is not carry your winter white fabric purse to a rodeo, or throw it down a sewer, or WHATEVER you did that gave it that awful smell.
No, I can't give you cash back. No, I can't give you cash back. NO, I CAN'T GIVE YOU CASH BACK - you paid with a credit card, please stop asking me.
No, that bag doesn't come in another color. Why would I lie?
Complaining to me forever about a bag that was in stock two years ago will not make it miraculously appear. I don't know what to tell you, and I have things to do.
Coming into the store at 8:58 is rude. Staying until 10? AND NOT BUYING ANYTHING? Better watch yourself as you walk back your car... I'M JUST SAYING.
And for the love of Pete, no child in middle school deserves a designer purse of any kind. But that's a "Kids-In-Dallas-Are-Too-Entitled" rant for another day...

You're completely right & I agree with you 110%. The customer is NOT always right and should have common courtesy when shopping, especially when respecting closing hours. I'd NEVER come into their work and stay well past closing time. I think your "for the love of hydorcodone" tag is immensely appropriate!

Ah, this reminds me of my days of retail. I worked at Victoria's Secret for 4 years through and after college. It definitely was a great job but man, sometimes those customers were ridiculous!! I feel for you, girl! Rant ON!

I can totally relate to this post, I am in retail also and it's amazing what they will bring back or even argue about. I could not have said it better myself :) I am following you and look forward to reading more.
