weekend recap.

First of all, I wanted to say how freaking amazingly fantastic all of you are. You have no idea how much the comments and well-wishes on here and Twitter and FB meant to me!

The weekend was a lot of emotions all thrown into one. Of course, it started off pretty sad and hard but there were many wonderful parts to it, too. I got to see a ton of family I never see which is always wonderful.

The rest of the weekend (aside from work) turned out to be one big jam-fest. No, we didn't eat a boat load of preserves. WE PARTY ROCKED!

Sunday, the crew headed out to Identity Fest at Fair Park to get our shufflin' on. It was hot, sweaty, Red Bull infused, and awesome. But seriously, never drinking an energy drink again. I was wired.

I know, I know...it's shocking but Drew actually DOES own a razor and here is proof.

In other fun news, I adopted a kitty! She actually belonged to a friend of mine but he just couldn't take care of her anymore with his schedule. Without further ado, I present to you this pretty lil' princess, Neko.

I know what you guys are thinking, "Wait, I thought you adopted her? Why is she in some little girl's room?" 

Don't let the stuffed animals fool you. Yes, this is actually my room. I have no shame. 

And that Hello Kitty plush? She's wearing head-to-toe Hannah Montana. WITH A SINGING GUITAR. My friends gave that to me for my birthday in college. No, not middle school. College.

I'm going to go cuddle with the lil' fur baby now. Y'all have a fabulous week!
