fall schmuck.

I tend to make resolutions at the beginning of each season. For this fall, I'm promising myself two things: (1) I will commit to being super awesome and take classes at Pure Barre with Neely; and (2) social Kiley is coming back out. Because exercising and social butterfly Kiley is the best kind of Kiley. Give her a cocktail and she's actually pretty funny, too.

I want to throw some glitter and make it rain on this whole season because I've spent the better part of 2011 being a hermit. Not that there's anything entirely wrong with spending time alone reading a book (or, in my case, reading book after book after book) and catching up on me time (not to mention a handful of television shows that I couldn't make time to watch while in school), but damn if I don't miss my friends! And on that note, I smell a segue...

It's Ok Thursdays

It's okay...

...to stay home sometimes, but everyone needs a little socializing once in a while! I seemed to forget that fact for a couple of months.

...to love someone so much and still kind of want to punch them in the nose.

...to eat Sonic after Pure Barre. (This may or may not have happened yesterday. Not necessarily to me! I'm talking about a friend...)

...to think I have to most entertaining adopted fur child in the whole world. Neko is bringing all kinds of excitement in my life. Unfortunately, I've become one of those people. The kind that enter into conversations with other cat owners for an hour about our respective pets. And hey! IT'S OKAY! ;)

...to wish I could make a hybrid of "Parks and Recreation" and "Happy Endings" and turn that into my life.

...to have watched every twisted second of "American Horror Story" and LOVED it.

...to think I talk about TV a little too much. Deal with it.

What's okay with you?

Happy Thursday lovies.

If I had a cat I'd totally talk to other people about the cat all the time AND talk to the cat all the time. Today I spent about 3 minutes too long begging a big buzzing fly to fly out the door before I closed it.

How do you like Pure Barre?  In Chicago, we call it Bar Method - actually, when Neely was here we went to a class together.  It's haaaarrrddd but I totally love it.  Good luck!

Nothing wrong with talking about your cat! I didn't know you even had one until you tweeted about him the other night. Next time we're together, we totally need to talk about our kitties!! I could talk about mine all day :)

Hey, dropping in from the link up!

How is PB?  I have REALLY been wanting to try it out!!

I used to workout a ton, and was a dancer. Then I went to college and stopped entirely, and now I'm incredibly out of shape. I never workout consistently so I needed something like this to push me...and oh man, it is TOUGH. My legs are shaking almost the whole time, and I'm sore the second I leave...but that means it's definitely working and I can't wait to start seeing some great results!

Since I never really worked out before I started classes, I'm going to update my blog after I start to feel like I'm getting stronger and try and give others an idea of what it's going to be like!

Do you workout a lot? I know neely says that PB is hard, so that must mean it really is!!! I want to try it! Also, nothing wrong with staying in! Makes going out that much more fun bc you dont do it constantly!
