if you haven't already, invest in some stretchy pants.

I feel like I have all of my "life epiphanies" in the car. Today, I realized several things driving to and from my various errands. Oh, and by life epiphanies? I mean random thoughts no one cares about.

Adele. What can I say about Adele. I know she has a lovely voice, and her songs are beautiful but I don't think I can stand it anymore. Her music is the kind of music I would ugly cry to. It's the kind of music I envision high school Kiley would have listened to post every single breakup when I would lock myself in my room for a week and make my mom slide my food under the door. She is everywhere and it is actually starting to depress me. I need some heavy rock or fast beats on my commute, not this.

Somedays, I'd love to be all uber-girl power and about "anything man can do, I can do better," but at times I think that there are things I should never have to do  - changing a flat tire is one of them. Enter reason #423 why I love Texas: guys here (for the most part) are incredibly helpful. Not one, but TWO guys stopped to help me change my flat tire. I'm choosing to believe that it had nothing to do with the fact that I was wearing stretchy gym pants that say 'juicy' on the butt and bending over to check out my tire, but hey: reason #5 why I love stretchy pants. They're not just for Thanksgiving and workouts people.

Although, I'm starting to reconsider my earlier tweet from this week...

The cashier at Jamba Juice just told me it was "on him." I knew this low-cut shirt was a good idea today...

I think I was wearing the same gym pants. Light bulb!

But in all seriousness... Thank you kind sirs for successfully taking on the one noteworthy, noble feat that even my own father couldn't achieve - you actually taught me how to change my OWN tire should I ever take my nose out of the air one day and find myself stranded on the side of the road. Anytime my dad has tried to teach me, my eyes glaze over the moment he asks for me to hand him the jack, so bravo kind strangers. Bravo.

I wish I could hire someone to sit in my passenger seat and read my Twitter feed to me.

Aaaand I think that the Urban Decay Naked Palette I received as a gift will be the perfect item for my first ever giveaway (I already have a brand new one I'm using) when I reach 100 followers. Or, ya know, for when it's Tuesday. Whichever comes first. Though I know they reached a big spike in popularity lately (Urban Decay should really thank bloggers for, what, like half of their business?) so do any of you even NEED one?! ;)

Ps. This was one of the giveaway items I won. Love it for stacking!

Pearl bangle by Bellissimo Jewelry on Etsy.

Neko was happy I won, too, since she got a shiny, new ribbon to play with. She is now forcing me to enter more giveaways in hopes of more discarded wrapping.

Happy Friday people. I don't work tonight, and since Drew is at his five-year high school reunion (I know. I KNOW. Who in the eff throws a five-year reunion...), I'm thinking I shall spend a sexy night with a glass of wine and my DVR. Jealousy, you haz it.

Peace, smoothies and unicorns,
xo.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. Her songs are starting to annoy me. :(

I looove you girl. You crack me up. I totally agree about the Adele thing. I like her music, but it's kinda depressing! Gahhh. I'm going shopping for more stretchy pants ASAP!
